A powerful inspiration for the brand’s creators, this historic monument, belonged to an enclosure situated in the lower part of the town, which protected the Place du Molard and the port, from the continuous flow of the countless merchant boats and their cargos. The clock tower soon became a harbour office that dealt with incoming or outgoing merchant ships, and in the region, it was famous for the accuracy of its clock, regularly visited by the most famous watchmakers of the time in order to preserve its remarkable precision.
