The Rado brand has been founded in 1917. Initially it was called Schlup & Co. Their headquarters is located in Lengnau, Switzerland. In terms of design, Rado largely differs from what the traditional Swiss brands use since it is more inclined in using innovative uses for high tech materials which have a distinct design. Not to mention, they have focused more on being the pillars of using several materials which are unique from the other brands. Common materials being used by the brand include sapphire crystal, lanthanum, ceramics, and hard metal such as tungsten and titanium carbide. And by using such materials, wearing a watch by them makes a unique and original Rado.
