Rado v10k: The Hardest Watch in the World

Rado v10k is one of the most popular watches that the brand has produced. It is because of its features that have given the brand a new way to be recognized for aside from just being the first manufacturers of scratch proof watches. Because of the Rado v10k, the brand has received more fan base than before.

The Rado v10k has been known as the hardest watch that has ever been produced. And because of this recognition, the Rado brand has received lots of praise for being able to come up with a product so reliable that it is the visual representation of the true philosophy behind the brand. In the past, the Rado brand was only known for being the first to produce scratch proof watches. Although the brand is still proud of this recognition, they are even more pleased that the public has grown to know and become interested in a new product that will change the whole outlook of the brand, the Rado v10k.

Rado’s fascination for creating scratch proof watches can be first witnessed with the Rado DiaStar in the 1960s. After its success, the brand produced 2 prototypes: the Rado Vision 1 and the Rado Concept 1. It was the Vision 1 which proved to be truly groundbreaking. Although sapphire crystal has been used for several years in order to produce quality watches, the brand went further and looked for more. Rado made use of crushed diamonds and included it on the casing of the watch. The result of this combination is the world’s hardest watch. Because of being such a revolutionary new product, the Vision 1 was entered into the prestigious, Guinness Book of Records.

The brand then collaborated with some nanotechnology specialists in the hopes of perfecting the use for coating a watch casing with the crushed diamonds. This developed process was called Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD). The process made use of several other procedures as well as a furnace which was capable of reproducing an atmospheric pressure of Jupiter. This engineering process was able to transform carbon into nanocrystalline diamond particles and it resulted to a homogenous 100% diamond layer which could be molded onto hard metal shaped components.

This was then the birth of the Rado v10k, the hardest and most scratch proof watch throughout the world. Despite these prestigious features, the watch has a striking design. Its strap has been made from rubber and is available in red, blue, orange, and black. Its caseback and the clasp have been made from titanium. These features and aesthetic beauty only proves that not everyone can have a Rado v10k.
